Cape Town–based writer, director, and film editor whose work spans commercials, short films, and features. His debut feature as writer, director was Adaption (2017), starred Albert Maritz and followed a shy aspiring writer forced to confront her own inner critic when her short story is adapted for the stage. His other film work includes Konfetti (2014), starring Louw Venter and Kim Engelbrecht; Tussen As en Hoop (2016), starring AndrĂ© Rossouw and Crystal-Donna Roberts; and Infidel(2016), starring Amalia Uys, on which he served as a writer.

The Winter Tapes is his debut novel, drawing on the same instinct for atmosphere, character, and slow-building tension that has shaped his work behind the camera.
